The Global Art Village
These caricatures of myself where made by some Facebook friends of mine, artists and professionals, young students and enthusiasts who put their time and efforts just for the pleasure of sharing our mutual passion in the art of caricature.
What makes me so excited these days is to grasp the potential of social networking applied to art in all its forms. I am increasingly convinced that social media is having a disruptive effect on the art-making processes which are much more open nowadays allowing for exchanges and growth. We are all part of an open art village where everyone all over the world can gain insight from, relate to, share or participate in, respond or comment on the artwork of each other.
I don’t know what this revolution can lead us to but I know that nothing will be ever the same again. I started working on caricatures just 3 months ago but I feel I have grown so much as a caricaturist thanks to the continuous and fruitful exchange with my fellow artists all over the world. Go check their facebook pages for more insights on their work. The order is strictly alphabetical...
