Suzanne Vega will perform in Bologna on February 24th...and I am not gonna miss it! After a 7-year-long silence the queen of American songwriting is back with a new album Tales from the realm of the Queen of Pentacles.
First time I listened to "small blue thing" I was 14 and I was completely blown away by Suzanne's voice. She was singing as though she was whispering in my ear, there was an intimacy to her voice that went straight to my soul and I suddenly started crying. Since then I became one of her biggest fans and I am still now. I hope I will be able to give her personally this portrait/caricature I made for her. I will keep you updated on this.
